They are very close and have always been together and are looking for a home together. They have been waiting quite a few months as two large breed dogs is very hard to find a home for together. Both are very friendly dogs and could live with older children, they love a fuss and are well behaved girls. They are good with other dogs and mix well, they travel well and enjoy their walks and would love to find a home where they would make perfect pets
A volunteer organistation we rehome dogs mostly from pounds and at risk of PTS but we also take in hand ins
from people who are no longer able to care for the dog.

Spike came to The Mayhew because his owners became homeless.
He is a very intelligent dog who is well-behaved, toilet
trained and can be left alone for a few hours without any
problems. Spike is nervous around strangers and may growl on
first meetings. It doesn't take him long to get to know and
trust you and he quickly forms very strong bonds. Care will
need to be taken that he doesn't become protective of his new
owners.
